Leather oils: Leather oils round out the care of dry leathers that suit them. They are a different thing from a thin surface sealant, and you pick them by leather type, condition and how well it takes the oil.
A possible deepening of the colour and a change in feel are part of the picture; not every coated car leather needs oil at all.
