COLOURLOCK Nubuck Fresh (Ferrari) is a special care color for rough-textured suede, nubuck, and velour surfaces in Ferrari leather interiors. Unlike Leather Colour or Leather Fresh, Nubuck Fresh is not intended for smooth pigmented leather — the formulation is designed to preserve the fine fiber structure of suede and prevent it from sticking together.

With Nubuck Fresh (Ferrari) and a fine brass brush in a 5-minute care routine, the typical velour look is preserved. After drying, brush lightly again — and the fibers will stand up velvety once more.

Dry brush, spray, work in the direction of the fibers

Nubuk Fresh (Ferrari) is sprayed evenly onto the suede from a distance of 20–30 cm with a spray bottle and worked in the direction of the fibers with a soft brush. After drying, brush again for the typical velour look.

Before care, the suede is dry-brushed with a soft suede brush or fine brass brush to remove dust and ingrained dirt. Then, it is wet-cleaned with a special suede cleaner and allowed to dry completely. Only then is Nubuk Fresh (Ferrari) sprayed from a distance of 20–30 cm — avoid puddles, spread immediately.

The color is worked into the direction of the fibers with a soft suede brush or fine brass brush until the pigmentation is evenly distributed. After 30–45 minutes of drying, the leather is lightly brushed again so that the fibers stand up and the typical velvety-matte velour look is created. A 250-ml bottle is sufficient for approximately 4–5 care applications on mid-range vehicles with Alcantara steering wheels and suede seats.

Nubuk Fresh (Ferrari) is exclusively for rough-textured natural leathers — suede, nubuck, velour, and Alcantara. Pigmented Ferrari smooth leathers are treated with Leather Colour or Leather Fresh.

The special carrier solution with finely pigmented dyes binds with the rough fiber structure without sticking or weighing it down. On smooth pigmented leather, Nubuk Fresh would adhere unevenly because the typical fiber structure is missing — the care would look patchy instead of even. On aniline leather, the fibers would not be sufficiently protected; here, aniline-specific COLOURLOCK lines are needed.

If the Ferrari vehicle has genuine suede seats, an Alcantara steering wheel, or velour door panels, Nubuk Fresh is the only correct care. If, on the other hand, the interior consists of pigmented smooth leather, Leather Fresh (Ferrari) or Leather Colour (Ferrari) is used. For mixed interiors (suede seats, smooth leather doors), both products are used in parallel.
