COLOURLOCK Nubuk Fresh (Aston Martin) is a special care dye for rough-textured suede, nubuck, and velour surfaces in Aston Martin leather interiors. Unlike Leather Colour or Leather Fresh, Nubuk Fresh is not intended for smooth pigmented leather — the formulation is designed to preserve the fine fiber structure of suede and prevent it from sticking together.

With Nubuk Fresh (Aston Martin) and a fine brass brush in a 5-minute care routine, the typical velour look is preserved. After drying, brush lightly again — then the fibers will stand up velvety.

Dry brush, spray, work in fiber direction

Nubuk Fresh (Aston Martin) is evenly sprayed onto the suede from a distance of 20–30 cm with a spray bottle and worked into the fiber direction with a soft brush. After drying, brush again for the typical velour look.

Before care, the suede is dry brushed with a soft suede brush or fine brass brush to remove dust and ingrained dirt. Then, it is wet cleaned with a special suede cleaner and allowed to dry completely. Only then is Nubuk Fresh (Aston Martin) sprayed from a distance of 20–30 cm — no puddling, distribute immediately.

The color is worked in with a soft suede brush or fine brass brush in the direction of the fibers until the pigmentation is evenly distributed. After 30–45 minutes of drying, the leather is lightly brushed again so that the fibers stand up and the typical velvety-matte velour look is created. A 250 ml bottle is sufficient for about 4–5 care applications on mid-range vehicles with Alcantara steering wheels and suede seats.

Nubuk Fresh (Aston Martin) is exclusively for rough-textured natural leathers — suede, nubuck, velour, and Alcantara. Pigmented Aston Martin smooth leathers are treated with Leather Colour or Leather Fresh.

The special carrier solution with finely pigmented dyes combines with the rough fiber structure without sticking or weighing it down. On smooth pigmented leather, Nubuk Fresh would adhere unevenly due to the lack of the typical fiber structure — the care would appear patchy rather than even. On aniline leather, the fiber would not be sufficiently protected; aniline-specific COLOURLOCK lines are needed here.

If the Aston Martin vehicle has real suede seats, an Alcantara steering wheel, or velour door panels, Nubuk Fresh is the only correct care. If the interior consists of pigmented smooth leather, however, Leather Fresh (Aston Martin) or Leather Colour (Aston Martin) is used. In the case of mixed equipment (suede seats, smooth leather doors), both products are used in parallel.
