Dry large surfaces in one pass, without drying scratches

The "Micron XXL" by Innovacar is a large-format, super-absorbent 500 GSM drying towel (70 × 90 cm). It absorbs large amounts of water and drastically reduces the number of wiping motions — ideal for SUVs, vans, caravans, or boats. It is too large and too absorbent for applying coatings or delicate detailing work.

Innovacar "Micron XXL" is the large-format drying towel for fast, gentle drying after a wash. Drying scratches almost always occur during the drying process — the more often the towel is dragged across the paintwork, the higher the risk. The "Micron XXL" addresses exactly this: with a 70 × 90 cm surface area and a dense 500 GSM, it absorbs large quantities of water in a single pass, meaning you need significantly fewer wiping motions. For you, this means: faster drying, less contact with the paint, and a lower risk of scratches — which is especially noticeable on large vehicles.

Practical tip from Detailing1: We never dry by rubbing; instead, we lay the "Micron XXL" flat and gently pull it across the wet surface or pat it dry — this way, the paint remains untouched. The most effective weapon against water spots: spray on a spray sealant as a "drying aid" before drying; the water will bead off before the towel even touches it, leaving almost no limescale on the paint.

Application: Lay on, pull off, do not rub

After washing, lay the "Micron XXL" flat and gently absorb or pull off the water from the surface. For faster beading, apply a spray sealant such as "SC0" Hydro Sealant beforehand.

Limitations: Not a coating or detailing towel

The large format is designed for drying — for thin coating applications, use the low-absorbency "Micron Suede"; for polish residue, use the "Micron Up".

Care

Machine wash at a maximum of 30 °C using "SM" Micron Shampoo, without fabric softener — this maintains its absorbency.
