Dubbi su ZviZZer PC 5000 "Pre Cut" Polish abrasivo (Blu)? Fatti spiegare:
The PC 5000 is the coarsest abrasive polish in the ZviZZer system (blue). Its aluminum oxide abrasive grain removes deep scratches and sanding marks from P1500 grit with a high abrasive content. It works without fillers, is water-based, silicone-free, solvent-free, and prepares the paint for gloss enhancement.
Use it on a rotary polisher with a hard blue pad. Distribute a pea-sized amount at about 1,000 rpm, then increase to up to 1,800 rpm and work with medium pressure until the scratch becomes shallower. Work in 40 by 40 centimeter sections and keep the surface sufficiently wetted.
The PC 5000 (blue) is the coarser grade and starts at P1500 grit, whereas the HC 4000 (red) starts at P2000 with less cut. For deep scratches and heavy weathering, start with the PC 5000; for medium defects, the HC 4000 is sufficient. Neither is a finishing polish.
A hard pad with a high cut. The blue ultra-hard pad is color-coded in the ZviZZer system to the Pre Cut grade and transfers the full grinding power. Softer foams absorb the cut and reduce effectiveness. The matching blue thermo pad is the right choice.
No. The PC 5000 is purely an abrasive stage and intentionally leaves a matte haze with holograms because it works without masking fillers. After the coarse removal, you must always follow up with a finer polish, otherwise the paint will remain dull. On thin clear coats, measure the layer thickness first.
A pea-sized amount covers a 40 by 40 centimeter section; the 750 ml bottle is enough for a full detail. Polish as rarely as possible: every pass removes some of the approximately 40 to 50 micrometer thin clear coat. A coarse abrasive polish is for damage, not for routine maintenance.
Before polishing, the paint must be clean: washed, decontaminated, and masked off. And before the first pass, a paint thickness gauge belongs on the surface — a modern clear coat is only about 40 to 50 microns thin, and the PC 5000 will noticeably remove some of it.
Apply a pea-sized amount of PC 5000 to the hard blue pad, distribute it over the area at about 1,000 rpm, and then work it in at up to 1,800 rpm with medium pressure until the scratch becomes shallower and the polish film begins to break down.
Work in sections of about 40 by 40 centimeters, keep the surface sufficiently wetted, and never let the abrasive run dry. After two to three sections, tap out the polishing dust or change the pad; a clogged pad will only smear and will no longer remove material.
The PC 5000 is the first step. After the heavy removal, a fine sanding step must always follow: first the red HC 4000, then the orange MC 3000 or a finishing step from the range of polishes, otherwise the paint will remain dull.
Notes: The PC 5000 is purely a removal step and not a finish polish. It deliberately leaves behind a matte haze with holograms, which must be refined with further polishing. Work especially carefully on edges and body lines and choose a milder step on thin or very soft clear coat, otherwise there is a risk of deep holograms or burn-through. Always test on a small area first. Store in a cool, frost-free place; use within 24 months after opening.
