Lavora all'ombra e su vernice davvero bagnata, pezzo per pezzo.
Fatti spiegare:
Wet Coat is a hybrid polymer-based spray sealant that you spray onto wet paint after washing and then rinse off. It builds a strong water-beading effect and a smooth gloss in minutes and lasts for about 2 to 3 months or roughly 2,000 kilometers. It is supplied as a 500 ml spray bottle.
After washing, spray a thin layer onto the clean, still-wet surface, let it sit for about 10 seconds, and rinse off the excess with a strong jet of water from bottom to top. Work panel by panel to prevent it from drying, and then wipe dry with a chamois or towel. Do not apply to hot paint in the sun.
Wet Coat is applied to wet paint and rinsed off—it is the fastest protection, but with 2 to 3 months, it has the shortest durability. The Graphene Spray Coat is applied to dry paint and lasts longer at 3 to 5 months. Fast and easy: Wet Coat. Longer-lasting: Graphene.
No. Wet Coat is a maintenance sealant for a fresh water-beading effect after washing, not a permanent coating. A ceramic coating lasts for 2 to 4 years but requires paint preparation and hours of curing. Tip: Wet Coat can be used as a monthly refresher over an existing coating.
The most common mistake is applying it to hot or already drying paint. If you do, the product will streak before you can rinse it off. Work in the shade, on truly wet paint, and panel by panel. Using more product does not improve the effect; it only makes rinsing more difficult.
Not against scratches—those must be removed beforehand with a polish. It helps against water spots indirectly: the hydrophobic layer causes water to roll off so that fewer drops remain to dry. Use a microfiber cloth to dry the rest streak-free.
Wash the car as usual and leave the paint wet — Wet Coat is a maintenance sealant, not a cleaner, and needs a fresh, clean surface as a base. Do not dry the car beforehand.
Spray Wet Coat thinly and evenly onto the still-wet surface, at a distance of about a hand's width. Work panel by panel: first one door or the hood, then the next section, so that nothing dries before you rinse it off.
Let the product dwell for about 10 seconds and then rinse off the excess with a strong stream of water, ideally a pressure washer, from bottom to top. Finally, wipe dry with a soft microfiber cloth — thanks to the fresh layer, the water will run off almost by itself.
Using more product does not provide a stronger effect, only more rinsing work. For longer durability on dried paint, use the Graphene Spray Coat instead.
Notes: Never apply Wet Coat to hot paint or in direct sunlight — the layer will dry before you can rinse it off, leaving streaks. It does not remove scratches and does not replace a ceramic coating; however, it works very well as a monthly refresher over a coating. Store in a cool, frost-free place and use within 24 months of opening.
